From Graphilo, Kobeha-keikaku (神戸派計画):

The original paper <GRAPHILO> of the Kobeha-keikaku 神戸派計画, was named by combining the Greek words "graph" and "philo". This paper is manufactured from the desire to make paper products that are specifically for fountain pen users.

Generally, paper is selected from ready-made brands.
It was a big challenge to develop an original paper that specializes in writing and was particular about the writing taste of fountain pens.  In search of the ideal paper, development was done with the cooperation of paper makers and members of fountain pen lovers.
With the same tendency as the paper selected from dozens of types, the composition and manufacturing method were changed little by little, and the writing test was repeated on the finished dozens of types of paper, and the fine adjustment was made until the day of paper making.

Writing taste of GRAPHILO
There are two types of paper: "uncoated paper" that does not process the surface and "coated paper" that applies a pigment called a filler. Many of the characteristics of the writing taste of <GRAPHILO> are the type, amount, and composition of this filler. It was born by devising a method.
- Wet and abundant ink flow
It is a smooth writing feeling that does not get scratched or caught while retaining the texture of paper. This feeling is expressed by the word "Nurunura".
- Lines with sharp outlines
By using a filler that can cover the surface firmly even if it is applied thinly, we succeeded in reducing the occurrence of bleeding and thickening of letters (ie. feathering).
- Good color development of ink
The uniform coat layer gives the ink a beautiful color, and the expression of shades is rich.
- Reduction of strike-through
By adjusting the composition of the filler, it is difficult for the ink to strike through even if you use a bold pen tip or overwrite.
- Reduction of front and back difference
There is always a difference between the front and back of the paper.
Depending on the difference, there are papers that are the same but have a significantly different writing taste, but <GRAPHILO> also paid attention to suppressing the difference between the front and back.
