You can transfer enough ink to use for a few days. 

Hario Science's ink pot was created to prevent ink deterioration . Since you can only apply ink to the tip of the pen, your hands will not get dirty from ink on the shaft. 

Take a small amount of ink with the eyedropper and transfer it to the saucer. Gently insert the glass pen into the glass tube so that the tip does not touch the glass .

When not in use, put the lid on. Glass is delicate, so please use it with care. It has a design like a cake with a strawberry on top.
