April 2025 Stationery Box - How I am using my notebook
Hello!
It is nearing the end of May 2025 and I have not touched this blog in a long time and thought I would get on here to see how you were doing :)
In this blog, I wanted to share with you some of the goodies from April's 2025 stationery selection box.
I have already posted a video showcasing some of the items, but I know not all are fond of watching videos, so here goes a blog post instead.
The lovely notebook included in April's box is the Relaxing Navy Coleur Fonce B6 sized notebook from Pilot. The paper is dot grid, which is great if you want to use it for writing and journalling as well. As you can see in the photos, and in the video, I am currently using this notebook for some fun memory keeping and for journalling. I am also keeping track of a big project that I have in mind and hope to make into reality one day.
As you can see I did some pen and marker swatching to see what it would look like. I was very pleased to see that there was no bleed-through with these. (Just a little FYI, these photos are making the pages look quite blue, but in reality are more muted/dull blue).
You can see the Shachihata Decorite markers both on white paper and on the navy paper. These markers are great for adding color to both light and dark colored pages.
The Roll Fusen (ie. roll sticky tape) is a neat way to have a variety of sticky notes in 1 roll. The fun and different designs are by Asanel here in Japan.
Included in April's box is also a set of Ryu-Ryu thin washi tapes. It comes already installed with a tape cutter making it easy to tear. I enjoy using the thin washi tapes to create borders or if I want to add a small bit of color to a page. (Also, if you are curious: the tape cutter can be taken apart and refilled to be used again and again)
I created a simple cluster of papers together using some blank scraps on my table. Along with the KingJim Kitta stickers and the Midori Habit Tracker sticky pages, I think it turned out really cute! You can circle the date you are referring to and journal away.
I love how the white pen just pops from the page...and while I am typing this, I just realized that I have misspelled the word "Obsessed", oops!
I just made a photo collage on my phone and printed it on my standard printer at home using regular copy paper. Nothing fancy at all, but I enjoy looking at all the lovely things on one page spread.
Do you have a page spread of what you are currently obsessed with? Maybe I will make one every season - it would be interesting to see if things change (or not...)
Included in this box is also a set of 4 mini clips! These are so cute! They are not very big, but are the perfect, compact size to hold a small set of pages together.
Included in this box is a bonus video(s) - I share the journal process of how I put together the journal spread above. We had a lovely time in a town called Karuizawa, Japan.
The product description also acts as a freebie and can be made into a zine. It was a lot of work putting it together, but I had a lot of fun! I have already put my zine into my Traveler's Notebook Journal.
And lastly, I have started doing a 'stationery & snacks' type of a theme each month and in April's box is a very famous gummy snack in Japan :))
