My Essentials for Watercolouring | Blog Post by Kenry

Since I started journaling, I picked watercolours as my major means of illustrating / recording my daily happenings or baking moments over others like colour pencils or oil pastels because it’s handy to carry a light-weighed watercolour palette with me; and I really love the soft strokes and light style that watercolours create. And I just got even more addicted when I received my first ever Pental Aquash Waterbrush (medium) from The Stationery Selection box a few months back.   I am so surprised that I was given another Pental Aquash Waterbrush (large) in June’s box. Because I was struggling whether I should get one more. Pens/ Brushes – In most of my paintings, I first drafted with pencils. It’s always...

I have been struggling with the content for this month’s blog and then an idea struck me while I was marking Art Folios at my desk (I was trying my best to distract myself from doing work !).  I am going to share with you some of what I consider the ‘Must Have’ items for journaling and crafting and at the same time give you a mini tour of my desk. So here we go! 1. Stamps I am hopeless when it comes to pretty stamps. I see stamps as an...

Meet My TN Travel Journal | Blog Post by Kenry

I’m quite a new traveler’s notebook user who just started a year ago. All I’ve been using is only the weekly insert to record my baking routine or track my happymail schedule, until one day, I was gifted a ½ short trip insert (passport size) from a close friend and it totally opened my world of travel journaling. This special insert can only be found at the Traveler’s Factory in Japan so it’s a bit hard to get hold of it if you’re living overseas. These ½ inserts come in white paper, cream paper and kraft paper. The number of pages is half of a regular insert so it’s a perfect fit for a short trip. Since I already used the...
