Hi everyone!  I just finished my weekly insert which is a hybrid of a planner, memory keeping and creative journaling notebook. The winter has finally landed in Melbourne. Even though the morning is cold and dark, we have been blessed by a few sunny warm weekends which really cheer me up. I have been struggling with the content for this month’s blog and then an idea struck me while I was marking Art Folios at my desk (I was trying my best to distract myself from doing work !).  I am going to share with you some of what I consider the ‘Must Have’ items for journaling and crafting and at the same time give you a mini tour of my desk....

I’m quite a new traveler’s notebook user who just started a year ago. All I’ve been using is only the weekly insert to record my baking routine or track my happymail schedule, until one day, I was gifted a ½ short trip insert (passport size) from a close friend and it totally opened my world of travel journaling. This special insert can only be found at the Traveler’s Factory in Japan so it’s a bit hard to get hold of it if you’re living overseas. When I first saw @thestationeryselection May box sneak peek, my eyes lit up!   For so long I wanted to try wax seal stamps and with the Classiky x Seiko Okada porcelain stamp in the box, which can be used both with ink and with sealing wax, there was absolutely no excuse left! :)  So I began to research the topic - soaking in tutorials, watching videos of the sealing process and writing down tips and tricks from friends and fellow stationery enthusiasts on Instagram.
